- It sounds like your Net-God's are filtering outside FTP access. Many
- organizations are doing that these days as a security measure. My site
- filters incoming FTP but allows outgoing FTP (in other words, they allow
- me to FTP out but not the world to FTP in). This is mainly so the net at
- large can't get access to a machine and attempt to hack their way in. If
- this is the case, there may not be much you can do about it. Talk to your
- netadmin (the person responsible for routers and such) for more info.

- I did not post the original request, but am VERY interested in obtaining a
- copy of documentation for PCEudora. Could you or someone post a copy on
- some anonymous ftp site? I have to believe that there are many potential
- users of PCEudora who would like to understand how to fully use the
- software.

- Subject: Novell Winsock doesn't support some Winsock calls?!
-
- We're testing some Winsock code we wrote and are having problems with
- Novell's Winsock stack. After calling them, they said that their Winsock
- doesn't support all the calls! Unf, they couldn't tell me which they
- support and which they don't. Does anyone out there have any experience
- running Novell's Winsock? Any ideas on what it does and doesn't support?
- Thanks,
-
- Ed
-
- p.s. the code runs fine on several other Winsock stacks.
